Visiting the Plus-Plus Factory

I visited the Plus-Plus production in Holbæk, Denmark and got a behind-the-scenes look at how Plus-Plus is made, including a rare factory-color surprise you can’t buy anywhere.
Recently I got the opportunity to visit the Plus-Plus production in Holbæk, Denmark and as a huge Plus-Plus fan myself, it was honestly such a cool experience.
Getting to see how Plus-Plus is actually made behind the scenes was something really special.
And I even got to take home something very unusual…
THIS Plus-Plus Doesn’t Exist!? 👀
Well technically it does… because I have it 😄
But it cannot actually be bought anywhere in the world.
So where did it come from?
When Plus-Plus changes colors in the production machines, there is a short transition period where colors get mixed together.
That means some completely unique color combinations are temporarily created during production.
As a little souvenir from the visit, I got some of these mixed-color blocks.
Behind the Scenes at Plus-Plus
The factory tour itself was incredibly fascinating.
Seeing thousands and thousands of Plus-Plus pieces being produced, sorted, and packed really gave me a whole new appreciation for how much work goes into creating something that looks so simple at first glance.
Why This Was Special to Me
I spend most of my days:
- building Plus-Plus creations
- making instructions
- creating YouTube videos
- and developing Plus-Plus Creator Studio
So getting to see the actual production and meet some of the people behind Plus-Plus was genuinely inspiring.
It also made me even more excited about continuing to grow this community.
